FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

1.      What does “cut headrest holes” mean?  Removable headrests must be removed prior to installing the seatback portion of the seat cover.  Holes must be cut in the fabric so that the headrest posts can pass through the fabric when they are replaced.  Therefore, if you intend to replace the headrests after you install the seatback, you must answer “Yes” to the question “cut headrest holes”.  We strongly advise you to replace the headrests as a safety precaution.

2.      How are the seat covers attached?  Our covers are made in two pieces - the seat cushion and the seatback.  The seat portion has a "skirt" made of Tricot material and elastic straps are attached to the bottom of the "skirt".  The straps are pulled under the seat and attached with "S" hooks.  The back of the backback is also made of Tricot and also has straps that are pulled under the seat.  Tricot has some elasticity and it helps keep the covers in place.  Since our covers are custom made for the make, model and year of your vehicle, we are able to achieve a very snug fit.

3.      Are your seat covers waterproof?  Each of our fabrics has different water repelling characteristics.  The Neo Supreme (Neoprene) material is the best for shedding water.  The SW Sierra and Popular Print fabrics do a fair job.  The remainder of our fabrics will hold liquids for a short period of time and spills can be blotted with a cloth or paper towels.  None of the fabrics we offer are “water proof” in the strictest meaning of the term.

4.      Can you wash the seat covers?  Yes, they are machine washable on a gentle cycle.  DO NOT use a clothes dryer to dry the seat covers.  Air dry them outside.

5.      What is your return policy?  Please read our “Guarantee and Return” policy statement.  Click on “Guarantee and Returns” in the page heading on any page.

6.      How long will it take to get my order?  It normally takes 6 to 8 working days for your order to be manufactured after your order is received.  Within a few days of placing your order, you will be notified, by e-mail, of the estimated shipping date.  Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground which takes 4 or 5 working days.  Therefore, you can expect your order to arrive within 10 to 13 working days from the date that you place the order.

7.      Can I order just headrest and/or armrest covers.  Yes.  Please click on the red lettering in the heading of the Home page that says “If you are ordering headrest and/or armrest covers ONLY, click here.”  You will be given directions about how to order.

8.      Can I get fabric swatches?  Yes.  We will send you a few (no more than 4) swatches of the fabrics you are interested in.  Please send us your full name and mailing address and the specific fabrics and colors you are interested in.
